Dr. Scarbrough graduated medical school from East Tennessee State University in 1998 and finished his residency at Emory University in 2003. He is a former adjunct Associate Professor of Radiation Oncology at the OHSU Knight Cancer Institute, a current Assistant Professor at the University of Central Florida School of Medicine, and a co-author of the textbook “Principles and Practice of Radiation Oncology.” He has published extensively on one of the new radiation medicine technologies, image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT). He is an expert in the fields of IGRT and intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT).
