Candace Barker, Nurse Practitioner

Candace Barker is a nurse practitioner certified in family medicine but has worked in the oncology setting since 2008. She majored in Biology and Nursing.  She studied and worked as a registered nurse (RN) at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) in the inpatient and outpatient settings. She has worked at the Cancer Center here at Fort McClellan since 2011. In 2015, Candace finished her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and became a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP).

Under Dr. Sehbai, Candace now works in the office and also sees patients in the local hospitals.  She really enjoys rural medicine and has great confidence in our team. The ambiance of our office and multidisciplinary approach to patient care is evident in the first visit.
